    How to read this page

Everything shares one time axis — tape, scale, VO₂max — with the races, the milestone runs and the writing marked underneath.

Waist is the primary fat-loss signal; weight is secondary. Weight is the fasted-morning daily minimum, aggregated to whole weeks — no timestamps, no per-reading rows.

A line breaks where the measuring stopped, and nothing is drawn across the gap. The hatched stretches are real holes in the record rather than flat periods. Three of those breaks run longer than six months, and nothing in the data says why — those are notes still to be written.

Uncertain tape readings are hollow. Which way an ambiguous digit fell was never recorded, so no error bar is drawn — an invented band would be half guesswork.

Two tiers of phase, and they are not interchangeable

A–E come from the daily fasted-morning series, which only exists from July 2025; their evidence column is the share of days with a reading — a rate over 13% coverage is not the same kind of number as a rate over 91%.

N1–N3 come from monthly notebook readings taken at no fixed time of day, so they are not fasted-AM and their rates cannot be compared to A–E’s — their evidence column is a raw reading count. Where neither tier can support a rate, none is given.

Why the writing and the data barely overlap

The earliest posts predate the measurements entirely — they sit at the left edge of the chart, before the record starts. The blog’s busiest years are 2004 and 2014; the dense data starts in 2020.
